The clans are at peace, their lake home has been suiting them well for many seasons. Nursery stories are still told about Jayfeather, the medicene cat able to walk in the dreams of others. One curious apprentice, Flamepaw seems very interested in this sotry. Jayfeather was a like a hero to him, how he helped the clans. Well, then Flamepaw found out something he shoulden't have: he was kin of Jayfeather. Not only was he excited, but this meant that he had powers as well, far past the ones of the clan cats. He was able to go back in time. Well, he tried that one night in his dreams, and was taken back all the way to when the great Firestar was a kittypet. But he didn't know that this kittypet was Firestar, for they hardly talked about him anymore. So, young Flamepaw went to this twoleg nest and taunted the kittypet, who was indeed Firestar. This distracted him from going out to explore, and he didn't meet the clan cats. So, Tigerstar took over the forest, and force-bred Bluestar and had Jaypaw. He still gained powers, and Tigerstar used it for himself. But, everything backfired and the powers were too overused, and a huge Starclan mess up occured, making all cats from each clan having a certain power. But, the orginal forest was destroyed, and Blackstar was the one to lead everyone to safety, but they went the oppsite way, and made their home in a different forest. Flamepaw went back to his own time, which was different since he had stopped Firestar from finding the forest. So, instead of everything being the great Firestar, it was flipped to the great Blackstar He was later killed by a rogue, and sent to Starclan, where he met up with Bluestar. Flamepaw considers himslef guilty of everything now, and the clan cats are starting to figure about the past that could have been......

Dornberger Private School for Secondary Education is an institute near to the river, far from population, which has the reputation of being an elitist school. Only those who are reached out to are actually eligible to apply, and of those many return home unsure of why they were rejected, unaware of what had happened in the school during the admission test. Hence, it is called the school you can never remember.
Dornberger Private School for Secondary Education is actually no school. Inside the premises of the school, exists a secret training ground for future sleepers, assassins, spies, militants and what not. Led by a confederacy of several security organizations and assassin groups, inside the walls exists Special Military Arts Training Program - the desperate struggle by the 'good' underworld to train teenagers to fight off the growing unease of the future, the potential for indiscriminate war and annihilation. No one knows how they find students worthy of fulfilling the task - but you could be next.

We wait in silence for these times when sense can be made, when meaningless existence comes into focus, and our purpose presents itself."
For centuries, humankind has had a secret. A secret that, if revealed, would change the world as we know it, and shake the very foundation of what it is to be "human."
We have been evolving, and that evolution has granted us abilities far beyond our fellow men and women. What would usually be deemed impossible is, in truth, far from it. Teleportation. Levitation. Telepathy. Regeneration. Telekinesis.
Over time, some of these individuals have come together, pooling their resources and their fantastic abilities together to serve certain goals. The Company has tracked dangerous mutants for decades, capturing and, if necessary, eliminating them so that the rest of the world can be safe, oblivious to who walks among them, and what those people are capable of.
Pinehearst is an organization with a different agenda, however. Led by the long thought dead Arthur Petrelli, secrecy is not quite the group's main goal. Instead, they are gathering powerful evolved humans, and looking into the production of a formula that grants abilities to those who do not have them. One thing is for certain, if the formula is produced and Pinehearst goes public, it will have ramifications around the world.
There are countless others all over the globe, more or less keeping their abilities secret. Which side, if any, will they take? More importantly, which side will you take?

Heroes: The RPG is an active play-by-post role-playing forum that has been successfully running for over two years. We're open to all levels of writing ability, and knowledge of the show is in no way required to join the game. In the 21st century, there was a man. Murphy Stevens. He was a smart guy, but a little bit eccentric. Okay maybe a lot. Aside from being the next Einstein crossed Michael Jackson, Murphy also was the next Lewis Carroll of his generation. He had these amazing ideas of how life could work, given the right amount of chemicals placed directly into the brain. And he indulged in writing about these ideas like they were his shopping list. Every week he'd release a book, like a magazine, only these books weren't just 50 or so pages long. They were fairly thick, and bursting with new information. You'd never think one person could know so much and put it all down on paper, in a way everyone could understand that wasn't repetitive. Murphy truly was a genius beyond humanly capable. But also he wasn't secretive. He liked to indulge people in his work and finding as much as he enjoyed experimenting. So there you go, he even had a little bit of Brangelina in him too.
The year 2018 brought about a great controversial international event. And it all boiled down to Murphy Stevens and his amazing mind. He had a breakthrough, and this breakthrough would bring about a new age of enjoyment for everyone on Earth. It was called FOS, short for figure of speech. And as boring as that name sounds, this idea of Murphy's was actually quite interesting, and it truly did sound like a bit of fun. What he devised to the public of the world and the Governments was to do an experiment, where a series of people are injected with a substance, something Murphy himself would develop from scratch. This substance, well Murphy insisted it would be 100% effective in creating what would be known as a mind over matter manipulation of the world around a person. Apparently it included an essence of witchcraft in it, to add a spice of life. And while it would only truly affect the sole person the substance was injected in, other people around them would be able to easily see how matter was manipulated around them. The idea was complex, but after much convincing, the world decided to give Murphy's FOS Law a try.
Which brings us to the here and now, 2020. It was supposed to be the year of the 2020 Summit, but bigger and better things have taken it's place. Well one thing. The sole event of the testing of Murphy's FOS Law. It's been in place for exactly one month now, in Tasmania, which was cleared of everyone beforehand, to create a unique and clean environment for testing. But people are finally starting to realise that maybe Murphy's brilliant idea to have a more enjoyable world wasn't such a great idea after all. See, the truth behind this substance, was sure it'd manipulate the world around an individual, but not everyone got something they wanted. Each person who volunteered for the experiment was injected with the substance, a direct needle into the brain, which took an eight minute period before it kicked in and the person was assigned a figure of speech. This figure of speech was also embedded into the substance, making each person's injection unique. And thus they would go about their lives, but with a catch. No matter what they do, their figure of speech embedded inside their brain now, would no longer be figurative. It was now literal.
