Basic Info Name: Allessandro Coppoloa Nickname: Allen Sex: Manly below the belt Age: 48 Sexuality: Straight Canon or original: Original Group: PoPo occupation: Just another underling of Wilson's...probably the oldest guy that still goes out into the field.
Physical Appearance Portrayed by: Al Pacino Eyes: Grey Hair: That's grey, too Height: 5'9 Body type: Fit. Not pencil-thin, or overly buff. He's pretty normal-looking. Wardrobe: Allen doesn't pull in the same sort of dough as his chief, but that's not to say he doesn't appreciate silk ties or a Brioni every now and then. On a daily basis, he follows the uniform criteria as was detailed in his job description, but whenever possible, Allen would prefer a black bespoke with a 9mm tucked handily into his belt. No holster. The man is old school. General Description of Characters Appearance: You wouldn't notice him unless you were looking for him, or if he were looking for you. Allen's got destinctive features, but a simple pair of sunglasses help him walk the city streets in cognito and unnoticed by the public. He's fit and healthy and can wield a weapon with great grace, like any gun is an extension of his arm (not quite so rough as his commander...Copolla was trained to treat his firearm as you would a refined woman). He has begun to slow down little bit, though only very recently and has actually noticed a bit of pressure from the chief to either keep up or quit. He can't quite bring himself to kiss his monthly income goodbye, however. He has too many toys to buy before he dies.
Psychology Five Words to Describe your Character: Curious, smooth, resourceful, magnetic, smart Likes: Sex, boozing it up but not too much so as to take advantage of the ladies, fast cars, silk ties, and guns. Dislikes: Feeling gradually more and more uneasy around Ras, cheap drunks, useless people, being exploited, cutting corners. Good traits: Almost feels bad about the work he does under Wilson's orders. Knows it's wrong, but doesn't know how to go about it, and realizes that Ras is not above having him killed, regardless of how close they are. Allen has a good heart, it's just a little buried by his childish antics and love of the good life. Bad traits: The right choices, in his opinion, require waaaaaay too much work and hassle to pull off. For Allen, that's a high cost just to feel all warm and fuzzy before he goes to sleep at night (high-priced hookers do that for him, anyways, so why bark when you have a dog?). He tends to live it up outside of work - coemployees are jealous (hehe) thus they are not really "with" him on alot of things. He's shown up to meetings with a hangover on more than one occassion, but he handles it with grace, which just pisses everyone off more. Allen is an old friend of Ras', which could be good and bad all at the same time, I guess. Quirks: He likes things done properly - can't stand half-ass work. He loves being single; Allen was never married and would never dream of it; he enjoys personal escorts a little too much for that sort of thing. General Description of Characters Personality: He loves his job, hates obligation, and despises the idea of being tied down to anything. He's always been tight with the mayor, but lately their relationship has been strained by the political turmoil within the city. He is not a huge fan of John Wilson, but follows his orders, even though, deep down, he knows they are unethical. Frequently, Allen finds himself questioning who's really running the city but is too busy living it up to say anything. Mixing buisness with pleasure is a regularity for him; almost a standard. Life is too short to wear a tie and be choked by it at the same time.
Background Parents: Two Italians, a cheap hotel, and a bottle of tequila in Mexico. His mum, Maria, spared him the details. Siblings: Deceased sister. Other Important Family: None. He's pretty much been disowned. History up until this point Allen was sent away to live with his aunt at age six because Maria couldn't afford to keep him and his sister (who was ill from birth... always a weak baby) fed at age twenty-three and on her own. He grew up with extended family ever since then, around the americas, until he set out on his own to enjoy life for a year or so before he had to sober up and start supporting himself. He moved to Mexico City, and took to it like a fish to water, fitting right in with the local "untouchables." It lasted about a month before his money ran out, splurged on cheap liquor, gambling and whores. Like Ras, he was inadvertedly forced to enlist in the army and get through basic training, but for Allen, that's where it stopped. He decided he liked holding a gun, and the power he felt when he did. So, he picked up some grades in community courses and headed off to a slummy law school. He got just what he needed to get into a local law enforcement office while still in South America, where he learned basically everything he could ever want or need to know when it came to working the street and getting a hold of what he needed to survive. Really, then, Coppola was as crooked as they came before he even got to Hallow City (which he heard of through the grapevine as a desperate place where the hard times were hardest and they were hiring anyone with a badge). Inconvenienced only when he was booted out of Mexico for drug trafficking (he never used, only moved the stuff...contrary to popular belief). He finally found the city and was promptly put on the payroll a week after his twenty-third birthday. He's been there ever since, and is now the oldest guy on the force that still goes out into the field full-time and actually works. He's responsible for a bit of paperwork, and is holding up pretty well, regardless of the emotional toll the work is taking on him. He finds he is softening ever so slightly as he ages, and isn't liking the idea. Allen knows very well that "feelings" don't count for much in his situation, and would prefer that they don't interfere...
